I was born in Oakland, California and raised in Ogden, Utah. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration. I worked as a banker for fifteen years then retired when my first child (now 18 years old) was born. I spent eleven years actively involved in Bible Study Fellowship—four of those as a Children’s Leader in their Preschool Program. When my children began school, my husband, Gary, and I selected Cedar Park Christian School where I became an active parent volunteer. All of my professional and personal life experiences lead me to pursue teaching as a full-time career. I received my training and Washington state certification through Northwest University and am thrilled and honored to now be teaching at Cedar Park.
