National Honor Society

National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization that bases itself on four pillars: service, leadership, scholarship and character. In Psalm 86:12 it says, “I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever”. 

Here at Cedar Park Christian School a way that we are able to execute what this verse is saying is by really focusing on one specific pillar, service. In order to be a part of the organization, students must complete at least two service events a year, and in order to maintain that membership, students must continue to participate in two service events every year after your induction. In reaching out to our neighboring communities we are able to be servants. We are able to reach out and aid the people who God has called us to help. Our students come to a better understanding of what God has called us as Christians to be, and be able to serve and serve with a servant’s heart.
