I am absolutely thrilled to be teaching 4th grade at Cedar Park this year! This is my first year at Cedar Park, and my fourth year in education. God has blessed me with the opportunity to educate children both academically and spiritually. I look forward to sharing my love for Christ, and my excitement for learning with your precious children. My husband and I have two amazing children. We love to play basketball and cook together as a family. I can't wait to partner with each of my students and their families!

PIP Hours = Money

If you or your spouse works for a company that has a corporate matching program for volunteer time, your required PIP hours can be turned in as volunteer time and earn money for CPCS.

CPCS is a non-profit, 501(c)3, and an academic institution, which makes the school eligible for a company matching program.

Example: If you work 10 hours a month in a classroom or other volunteer capacity, and you or a spouse works for a company that does Corporate Matching, you could turn those hours in and CPCS would receive money for the hours you volunteered.

· Microsoft pays $17 an hour for your time.

· Boeing pays $10 an hour for your time.

While Boeing and Microsoft are just examples, many companies do have Corporate Matching Programs. Each company program is set up different, and many of them will pay out in quarterly, or 3 month installments.

This is an easy way for CPCS to generate additional funds on a regular basis, for the time you have already kindly given our teachers and students!

There is an easy way to find out if your company participates in a corporate matching program, requirements, and the forms needed to complete this process. There is a link on the School website to a database of companies with all the information you need.

1. Go to; www.cpcsschools.com,

2. In the main menu, there is a link to a database of companies that participate in company matching.

3. Click on ‘Corporate Matching’, in the main menu.

4. Type your company name into the ‘Search Box’, if your company participates, it will be listed. (If you know your company matches donations but is not listed, please send an email to: Nancy.w@cedarpark.org )

5. Click on your company name, and it will link to the forms you need to fill out! (Some businesses may require that you pick up the forms in person. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

The time you donate in PIP Hours is vital to our mission at CPCS. We thank you for showing love and generosity to the Teachers and Students at CPCS! Your volunteering helps our teachers tremendously and aids in our students achieving academic success and for that, we thank you!

Take advantage of the benefits offered by companies who participate in Corporate Matching Programs and help generate money for our kids at Cedar Park Christian Schools!

If you have questions or need help with the process, please call the Finance Office and ask for Mary Jo Bader. (425) 488-3600.
