ATTENTION 7TH GRADE GIRLS (2ND PERIOD ONLY)!

Please remember that permission forms for me to video record you are due the DAY AFTER you come back from break, TUESDAY APRIL 17TH.

There is a copy of the letter and form posted here online if you need to print it and you should have a hard copy as well.

Note that the form asks for parents or guardians to sign. Students do not need to sign because they are under 18. If you have ANY questions about the video recording or the form, please feel free to contact me. My contact information is on the letter that is posted here online,

SPRING CONCERT

MAY 21st.......Monday........7pm.........Sanctuary

All students must report to the Sanctuary IN UNIFORM by 6:30pm

Mandatory that all stay for the ENTIRE concert.

CONCERT REFLECTION paper will be due Friday the 25th

SECOND SEMESTER GENERAL LESSON PLANS:

This semester all classes will continue to study the following music performance elements:

Memorization of the music and lyrics
Rhythm and timing issues unique to each song
Performance etiquette including individual and group stage presence
Posture and vocal projection
(Overall self-control)

The high school choirs will be preparing for the upcoming ACSI Musicale Festivals and the 7th grade exploratory choirs will be preparing for the Spring Concert - May 21st

Participation grades continue to be posted weekly for grades 8-12. 7th grade boys' grades are posted daily.

*Any points subtracted are usually for non-participation, or repeated disruption in class. 2 points are also subtracted for unexcused tardies.
