Your Child’s First Step on the Ladder of Learning
Our preschool is a God-centered, high-quality preschool program that helps children begin kindergarten ready to succeed. Through this program children learn, grow and explore within a loving Christian environment. The classrooms provide fun, exploratory learning centers, art, Bible, math, and phonics based pre-reading that build skills for academic success while instilling a love for learning.
Our preschool uses an outstanding curriculum that is built on a foundation of academic excellence and character training. Our curriculum provides a strong phonics program that is used from preschool through 5th grade. This provides a learning ladder that starts in the bottom crosspiece, (preschool), then climbs to the next, (kindergarten), and then to the next, ultimately reaching to the top. The high-quality preschool education gives children a boost to successfully climb the first few steps on the ladder of learning.
Our state certified teachers provide a safe and loving environment for students coming from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. Our small class size is a benefit to the parents and children. Our goal is to create a strong partnership between home and school.
Three’s
Tuesday and Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Three year olds attend class two days a week. Our program is developed for first time preschoolers and children who have previously been in other child centered programs. Through the use of learning centers, the class provides children hands-on experiences, introducing them to God’s world. The children are introduced to alphabet recognition and letter sounds taught in ways which meets each child’s individual learning style. We provide introduction to age appropriate early mathematical skills.
Four’s
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 11:15
The four’s class provide a rich academic experience three days a week which involves strong phonics program using the same phonics curriculum base that is used through 5th grade. The classroom provides fun exploratory learning centers, art, music, Bible and math. We provide special classes for Physical Education and Music starting 2012-2013.
Pre-kindergarten
Monday – Friday 8:30 – 11:15
The pre-kindergarten class meets five days a week and has been designed for students who are ready for a more challenging academic introduction to phonics in pre-reading skills using the same curriculum base that is used through 5th grade. Pre-kindergarten includes language arts, introduction to writing, social studies, science, math and a daily Bible lesson. We provide special classes for Physical Education and Music starting 2012-2013.
