Parent Portal Log In Problems

Having problems logging into the Parent Portal lately? STI, our student information system provider, recently made some changes that are causing problems with Internet Explorer 10. They are currently working on a fix, but in the meantime, they are suggesting that you access the portal with an earlier version of Internet Explorer, or current versions of Firefox, Safari or Chrome.

Not Receiving Emails from the School? Have an AOL email address?

Lately we’ve noticed a large number of emails being returned to us with aol.com addresses. We are currently working with AOL to fix this issue, however, in the meantime, we need to communicate with you! If you currently have an AOL.com email address, would you please contact us with an alternate email address? With so much going on during these last days of the school year, we don’t want you to miss out on anything!

Our guest speaker for Grandparents Day was Mr. Garron Smith, High School Principal for the Bothell Campus. In his message he stressed that despite all the changes and influences of our world, Cedar Park will NEVER stop teaching God’s Word and will hold fast to His truth and purpose. May we continue to Pass On all the riches we have in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Our eight grade students visited Washington D.C. They visited many sites including the Wreath Ceremonyu for the Unknown Soldier at the Arlington Cemetery, The Lincoln Memorial, The Korean War and the Vietnam Memorial, what a wonderful experience!

Don’t forget classes are competing to see who brings in the most donations! Kids are putting their hand prints on a huge poster outside the cafeteria and have been closely monitoring the progress. Mrs. Stubson’s 3rd Graders are very excited to be in the lead!!

Also, Early Bird Ticket prices go up after March 17th. New prices will be $30 per person or $50 per couple! Please invite family and friends for a fantastic evening of great food, incredible deals and most of all, fellowship!

Teddy Bears Make For a Special Week

The first graders enjoyed a chilly January day with their favorite teddy bears. These special visitors accompanied each child throughout the day. First Grade Teddy Bear Day began with a special “Breakfast with Our Bears”. Parents were invited to join the first graders and their bears, as the room moms served waffles, bacon and fruit, including blueberries. It was very evident that these first graders love bacon! Blueberries coincided with a favorite book, Blueberries for Sal, by Robert McCloskey. A “bear” theme was incorporated into all aspects of our learning that week, including reading, writing, poetry, math, music and art. Everyone wore brown and blue, and parents took photos of the 19 first graders and their bears. This was a wonderful week in winter!
