Hello! I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach at this great campus!
Here's a little about me: My husband and I have been married for 25 years and for the majority of that time, we were in full-time ministry of various kinds. When my husband switched gears to business, I also switched gears and went back to school to finish and then get a teaching certificate.
I started out teaching for Portland Public Schools, then moved to private education in Oregon and now Washington. Teaching first grade is truly my very favorite placement, so I feel extremely blessed this year to be right where I love to be!
In addition to being a teacher, I am a mother to four great "kids" who all love God; they are 23. 21, 19 and 17, three boys and one girl.
I am thrilled to be teaching at a school where I can openly share my faith and grow together as a Christian with my coworkers and the families here!

Parents, the new file entitled "100 Sight Words" is comprised of the 100 most commonly used words in the English language. These are important words for 1st grade students to know on sight to increase reading fluency. We will be working on these in class and it would be great if you can practice with them at home, as well.
