The Martha Lake Campus of Cedar Park Christian Schools is located in the Martha Lake/ Mill Creek neighborhood.

 

This campus opened in August of 2008, and is one of two campuses that provide Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and Childcare services.

 

Class hours: 8:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.

OR 12:15 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.

 

We have 3 classes, with or without childcare, if necessary.

 

3's AM class: T/TH AM

4's AM class: MWF AM

Pre-k PM: M-F PM

 

Childcare is available 6:00 am until 6:00 pm. We currently minister to families with children ages 1 through 5.

 

Our Preschool and Pre-K classes are taught in a Christian environment that is enriched through the use of Biblical and seasonal themes. These themes change each month and provide many different activities and experiences.

 

In addition to the hands-on learning, we include the ABEKA reading and math curriculum to help foster reading, writing, and math learning in our pre-school classes. The balance between each type of instruction has proven to provide an incredible learning opportunity for students aged 3 through 5.

 

The Martha Lake campus is a beautiful 6.29 acre facility, that is currently in the paper process of building a new school that will minister to families with children in our childcare through 12th grade. Christian families in Snohomish County will soon have another excellent educational opportunity.

 

Our New Flag

 

For many months now our old flag had flown faithfully over our school, becoming more worn and tattered as time went by.

 

On Veteran's Day, Mr. Edmonds (Hannah's Father from Pre K class) brought us a new flag. This flag had been flown over many military bases, U.S. Embassy's, and sites where our US troops stand the ground of freedom and justice. It is especially meaningful that our new flag was flown in Iraq where our troops still stand and fight.

 

We opened the flag and laid it carefully on our table. Since it was raining heavily, it did not seem right to place it on our pole just then. But later in the day, a six-year veteran of the Marine Corp, my own son, Tom St.Clair came by. The rain had stopped, and he gladly raised our new flag for us. What a lovely way to honor our veterans on their special day.
