CPCS is pleased to offer bus service to our families. We are dedicated to providing safe, convenient, and comfortable transport of your child. Through this service, your child is safely shuttled to and from our campuses before and after school.

Q: What is the routine for after-school buses?
A: Buses depart campus at approximately 3:00 PM on regular school days and 11:30 AM on Early Release Days. All students must be on board at least 2 minutes prior to departure times.
Q: Can my child bring friends on the bus?
A: Only students registered for bus service are permitted to ride. If a registered student needs to ride a different bus, prior authorization from the Transportation Director is required.
Q: Can my child walk home alone from the bus stop?
A: For safety reasons, all students are expected to be escorted to and from the bus stop by someone listed on their FACTS pick-up authorization list.
Q: Will the bus wait for my child?
A: No. Parents and guardians are asked to arrive early for both pick-up and drop-off times. Buses will depart on schedule. If you miss the bus, please transport your child to school directly.
Q: What if our bus is running late?
A: You will receive a text notification if the bus is expected to arrive more than 15 minutes later than the posted drop-off time.
Q: What if I am running late to the bus stop?
A: If no authorized adult arrives within a 10-minute grace period after drop-off, the student will be transported back to school and checked into Extended Care until pick-up.
