Morning Preschool

Ages 3-5 Years

Cedar Park Christian Preschool desires to be an extension of the Christian home. We believe that the teaching of children should support parents and the church in a partnership, where children begin to develop a Christian worldview. Our goal is to be a faith-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood education by providing hands-on, engaging opportunities with rich, meaningful content. Through excitement and enthusiasm for learning we want each child to feel safe and secure as they begin to understand that God created and loves them personally.

Programs Offered

  • P3/P4: T, W, Th 8:30-11am
  • PK: offered M-F 8:30-11am

Important

  • Students must be fully potty-trained and out of pullups
  • We do not operate during the summer months

Preschool Programs

P3’s

Using learning centers, children are encouraged by hands-on experiences, introducing them to God’s wonderful world. Children are exposed to beginning alphabet recognition and recall of the corresponding sound. Early mathematical skills also enhance this program. Enrollment is open throughout the school year on a space-available basis.

  • Must be 3 yrs old by August 31st and fully potty-trained

P4’s

The focus of the P4’s class is on a strong phonics program along with specific literacy skills using quality literature. Beginning writing skills are taught and practiced. Children learn basic math concepts through hands-on activities leading to a solid foundation for advanced mathematics. Enrollment is open throughout the school year on a space-available basis.

  • Must be 4 yrs old by August 31st and fully potty-trained

PK

The Pre-Kindergarten class has been designed for those students who are ready for a more challenging academic experience in preparation for our kindergarten program. It is designed to build increased confidence to better prepare your child for kindergarten and beyond. Enrollment is open throughout the school year on a space-available basis.

  • Must be 4 yrs old by August 31st and fully potty-trained

Building a firm foundation in trusting Jesus.

At Cedar Park Christian School, we believe that the basis of all teaching is God and His Word. Bible stories, songs, Bible verse memorization, and prayer are concrete ways that children experience and learn about God’s Word.

Children learn that God is the Creator of all things, that He loves them and desires to be their personal Savior and friend.

Our teachers openly share with students about their own faith and love for Jesus in both formal and informal teaching time. The desire of our preschool is to help each child begin “building their life” on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Preschool Staff & Aides

Teachers and aides seek to treat each student as a unique child of God with individual likes, needs and abilities. Teachers will meet children at their current level and take them to the next step of learning. There is regular communication with parents about what their children are learning in school and how to reinforce that learning at home. Our goal is to model the love of the Lord to each child.
